CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1. Purchase Cancellation

1.1. In the event that the ticket holder (buyer) wishes to cancel the purchase, the cancellation request must be made within 7 (seven) calendar days from the day following the date of purchase, to initiate the refund of the corresponding amount paid, as stipulated by the Consumer Protection Code.

1.2. For purchases made less than 7 (seven) days before the scheduled event date, tickets can only be canceled up to 1 (one) day before the event. No cancellations or refunds will be made after the 7 (seven) calendar days period, on the event date, or after its occurrence.


2. Cancellation Procedure

2.1. The customer must submit their cancellation request by contacting Instituto Totum Customer Service via email: financeiro@institutototum.com.br. Regardless of the request method, the cancellation deadlines specified in the previous section must be observed.

2.2. When canceling the order via email, it is necessary to await confirmation of cancellation by email from Instituto Totum's customer service team. The credit card charge reversal process will be completed within 10 (ten) business days. Please note that the credit to the cardholder depends on the processing of this ticket amount by the issuing bank and the closing date of their statement. The reversal may appear on your credit card statement within:

2.2.1. (i) 3 (three) billing cycles (this period is independent of Instituto Totum and is due to the internal procedures of the credit card issuer used), or

 

2.2.2. (ii) within 90 (ninety) business days for other payment methods.


3. Changes in Activities

3.1. Activities (timings and dates) may be subject to change by the organizers at any time, without prior notice or any other conditions, especially due to force majeure, fortuitous events, Covid-19-related pandemics and variants, and/or other determinations from administrative, governmental, and judicial authorities.


4. Event Rescheduling

4.1. If the event date is rescheduled for any reason, the ticket for that day will automatically be valid for the rescheduled date, and no additional validation by the ticket holder is required.

4.2. If the ticket holder cannot attend the new date, the buyer may request a refund within 30 (thirty) business days after the announcement of the refund instructions by the event organizers.


5. Event Cancellation

5.1. In the event of event cancellation, Instituto Totum will have up to 60 (sixty) days to process the refund and reversal of ticket values paid after notifying the event cancellation. After this period, the refund of corresponding values will occur:

5.1.1. (i) within 3 (three) billing cycles, if the ticket was purchased by credit card (this period is not controlled by Instituto Totum as it is due to the internal procedures of the credit card issuer used);

 

5.1.2. (ii) within 90 (ninety) business days for other payment methods. Specific exceptional cases resulting in event cancellation will be governed according to the form provided by current legislation.


6. Changes in Purchase

6.1. Under no circumstances will it be possible to change the date, time, sector, type, or quantity of tickets after completing the purchase. If you wish to change any purchase data, it will be necessary to request a full cancellation (provided the rules outlined in the previous sections are met) and proceed with a new purchase—provided there are still available tickets for the desired event.
